Hello, I’m Agnė, and agnèsidea is the continuation of my long-standing love for handmade crafts, beauty, and jewelry that quietly speaks.
My journey with jewelry began 18 years ago. I wanted to make beads myself, so I started working with polymer clay. At the time, it was a hobby—a respite from everyday life and my work in finance. Creativity was always present, but I never imagined it could become more than just a pastime.
Over the years, I experimented with various materials—polymer, natural stones. But gradually I realized that none of this was exactly what I was looking for. When my children were born, and life slowed down, I finally had space to ask myself: what do I really want to do?
That’s how I returned to an old dream—learning to work with precious metals. I completed jewelry-making courses and haven’t stepped away from the workbench since. Working with silver is a completely different feeling. It’s a material with lasting value, with real weight. Every movement requires focus, and every form emerges through a process that is much more than just working with your hands.
I don’t know yet if jewelry will become my main path—this is only the beginning. But I do know it is real. My hands create jewelry meant for everyday life, but made thoughtfully. Simple, but not banal. Quiet, yet meaningful. And each piece reflects a little of me, and a little of you.
